Party Boats And Head Boats In Belmar

The Belmar Marina is renowned for its large selection of party boats (head boats) that take to the ocean daily, provided the weather remains suitable. Voyages typically leave the marina at dawn and return mid-afternoon, between 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., offering visitors a chance to enjoy a full day of sailing and sightseeing.

Many ships offer more than just typical fishing trips; they also present special excursions for the day, including sunset cruises, whale-watching tours, and July 4th fireworks voyages. These afternoon fishing charters provide a unique opportunity to observe marine wildlife or take in the night sky’s spectacular display of colors. On a Fourth of July cruise, you can marvel at vibrant fireworks displays from the comfort of your own boat as it sails across the waves.

If you’re heading out on a fishing party boat, it’s always an option to bring your own rods and tackle. However, the boat may also provide rental or purchase options for these items. It’s worth doing some research before booking in order to determine whether the ticket fee covers rods and tackle; this is a local tip that could potentially save you money.

Pack a small cooler with cold drinks, snacks, and lunch for your fishing trip off the New Jersey coast. Remember also to pack sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat or visor, and any other items you might need to make the most of your summer day by the shore. Bring what you need to enjoy an incredible outdoor experience while casting a line into the water.

For your ease and convenience, many vessels provide the option to book online in advance of your trip or even purchase tickets as a present. If you would like more information on any of the boats below, please do not hesitate to contact them directly. Planning ahead can help ensure that you have the perfect vacation, and buying tickets ahead of time can make for an excellent gift!

Parking At The Belmar Marina

Parking in Belmar can be challenging, particularly during the hectic summer weekends. Unfortunately, there is a restricted amount of free parking spaces at the marina near the fishing boats. If you cannot find a gratuitous spot within the section allocated for fishermen, you may have to pay for parking at the Belmar Marina.

Belmar utilizes the ParkMobile app for paid parking at selected areas of its marina close to Marina Grille and the entry point at Route 35 and 10th Avenue. The app provides an easy way to pay for parking in these designated spots, allowing visitors and locals alike to quickly get on with their day without worrying about finding change or waiting in long lines. This area, known as Zone 6 (58106), is designated for paid parking on the ParkMobile app. The cost for this zone is $2.00/hour and it applies year-round from 4:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m., making it conveniently accessible to those in need of short-term parking solutions during these hours.

If you don’t feel comfortable on a boat, surf fishing could be the answer.

Enjoying the pastime of surf fishing is a fun and rewarding activity to partake in along the Belmar coastline. People have been casting their lines in this picturesque location for many years, often choosing to do so near one of the jetties due to the abundance of fish that can be found there. You may choose any part of the Belmar beach to drop your line, though you’ll likely encounter other fishermen by the jetties looking forward to a successful day out on the waves.

If you’re looking for a great spot to take in some scenery and watch the boats cruise in and out of the inlet, then check out the big jetty between Belmar and Avon by the Sea near the Belmar drawbridge. This is an ideal place for those who want to appreciate nature’s beauty and observe fishing vessels making their way through the waterway.
