The Belgian Plate by Waffle It & Co. has opened its second eatery in Jersey City. The new space is located in the former home of Klado House of Brigadeiros at 232.5 Pavonia Avenue. (They’re in the tiny space located next to Madame Claude Wine).
Like its namesake suggests, The Belgian Plate specializes in all things Belgian with an emphasis on waffles. They were one of the original vendors to open at District Kitchen (210 Hudson) inside the Harborside Atrium.
The new eatery will co-exist alongside The Belgian Plate’s Harborside location and offer waffles, sweet/savory crepes, baguette sandwiches, soups, omelets, and more. (You can check out the full menu at The Belgian Plate’s website). The new space just opened on November 4. You can follow them on Instagram for updates on store hours.
