What: Day of the Dead Community Gathering
When: Thursday, November 2 from 3pm to 4pm
Where: Riverview Park Gazebo
The Day of the Dead Community Gathering is a celebration to honor the memory of lost loved ones. The event will feature a free performance by traditional Mexican dance group Sueño Americano.

When: Thursday, November 2 from 8pm to 10pm
Where: 594 Palisade Avenue
Americana/roots band Widely Grown (featuring James Calleo) will perform at Fox & Crow tonight. Admission is $10/pp.

What: Deb Devi at Fox & Crow
When: Saturday, November 4 from 8pm to 10pm
Where: 594 Palisade Avenue
Deb Devi will perform at Fox & Crow tonight. Devi blends blues-rock, jam, Americana, and pop influences with her masterful guitar playing and soulful vocals. Admission is $10/pp.

Sunday Events

What: Day of the Dead Celebration
When: Sunday, November 5 from 10am to 2pm
Where: Riverview Park
Jersey City’s biggest Halloween celebration is back with a full day of events. Enjoy the annual Day of the Dead Giant Puppet Parade with live mariachi (Mariachi Oro de Mexico) and dancers. Plus, there will be a pet costume contest ($5 admission fee) starting at 1pm.

When: Sunday, November 5 from 12pm to 6pm
Where: Bethune Park at 140 MLK Drive
The second annual Autumn Festival is back. Enjoy a full day of games, food, music, children’s activities, a hay maze, and more.
