All About Downtown Food FestivalIt’s a big weekend for foodies as Jersey City’s biggest food fest returns for the 11th annual All About Downtown Food Fest. Plus, checkout Smoragasbar’s Food Fundraiser, Midnight Market at 902 Brewing, and a free Latin jazz show at Exchange Place.

What: Smorg Crushes Hunger
When: Thursday, September 15 from 6pm to 8pm
Where:
Smorgasbar at 3 Second Street
Smorg Crushes Hunger is a fundraiser to help combat food insecurity in New Jersey. Enjoy cocktails and food by the waterfront while Smorgasbar donates a portion of sales from the night to the Community Food Bank of NJ.

What: Cowboy Cosplay at Barrow Mansion
When: Thursday, September 15 from 6pm to 8pm
Where: 83 Wayne Street
The Barrow Mansion is hosting a night of country music with live performances by John Feuerbach, Uncle Jay, and Disaster Party. The event is free and open to all.

What: Sean Kiely & Friends at Fox & Crow
When: Thursday, September 15 from 8pm to 10pm
Where: 594 Palisade Avenue
Local singer/songwriter Sean Kiely will perform at Fox & Crow tonight. Kiely has released several acclaimed recordings under his own name, in addition to being an in-demand guitarist and singer on the local bluegrass scene and producer for other artists. Admission is $10/pp.

What: 4th Annual Pierfest by Exchange Place Alliance
When: Friday, September 16 from 6pm to 9pm
Where: J. Owen Grundy Park
The Exchange Place Alliance is hosting the 4th annual Pierfest. The event features world-class Latin jazz, dance instruction, and food. It’ll be held every Friday through September 30. Tonight the show will feature Flying South Latin Jazz Trio and Peter Nater Associates.

What: Midnight Market + 902 Brewing
When: Friday, September 16 from 6pm to 12am
Where: 101 Pacific Avenue
Get ready for a night of eats, dance, and drinks. Midnight Market returns to 902 Brewing tonight offering two sessions. Session one ($10/pp) runs from 6pm till 8:30pm and includes access to the brewery, food for sale, live DJ, outdoor games, and more. Session two ($35/pp) run from 9:15pm till midnight and it includes the same, but throws in access to a silent disco (headphone rental included in price).

Forthcoming fitness studio Barre3 Jersey City is hosting a pop-up class at the Gazebo at Hamilton Park this morning. You’ll need to bring your own mat, water, and towel.

What: Smorgasburg Jersey City
When: Saturday, September 17 from 11am to 6pm
Where: Harborside Plaza & Hudson Street (behind Smorgasbar)
Smorgasburg is back at Harborside for another season of eats. The outdoor market will offer food from numerous vendors including Cake Jars, Carlitos Barbecue Taqueria, and more. The market will operate every Saturday. Admission is free and there will be various outdoor dining options throughout Harborside JC.

What: All About Downtown Food Festival
When: Saturday, September 17 from 12pm to 8pm
Where: from Grove to Coles on Newark Avenue
Jersey City’s biggest food festival is back celebrating its 11th year. Roughly 200 vendors are expected this year. Highlights for 2022 include a reggae party/beer garden from Left Bank, a new Kids’ Zone, a salsa dance party on Grove, and four live music venues.

What: Movie Night at Dullboy
When: Sunday, September 18
Where: 364 Grove Street
Every Sunday night, Dullboy will be screening a movie in its patio. The movie will begin at 8pm. Make sure to give them a follow on Instagram to find out what movie they’ll show.

When: Sunday, September 18 from 4pm to 8pm
Where: Grundy Park at Exchange Place
Enjoy a night of salsa music and dancing with New York as your backdrop. Salsa at Grundy Park includes live dance performances and free dance workshops. This will be the final Salsa at Grundy Park for the summer season.
