Heights coffee shop Froth on Franklin is hosting Jersey City Poet Laureate Ann Wallace for an evening of poetry at the coffee shop. Admission is $10/pp and proceeds will benefit earthquake relief efforts in Turkey and Syria by Doctors Without Borders.

Where: Earl Morgan Branch JC Public Library at 1841 Kennedy Blvd.
The JC Public Library is offering a free screening of The Rebellious Life or Mrs. Rosa Parks followed by a discussion with director Yoruba Richen. The documentary is based on the bestselling biography by Jeanne Theoharis and was produced by award-winning journalist Soledad O’Brien. It takes a deeper dive into Rosa Parks’ accomplishments and the impact of her fight to overcome racial injustice. Admission is free.

JC Restaurant Week is back. The 15-day event was created by the Jersey City Restaurant Association and includes deals at a wide variety of Jersey City eateries including Franklin Social, Bricklane Curry House, East Hudson Cafe, and more.
