What: Latham House’s last goodbye
When: Sunday, April 16
Where: 299 Marin Blvd
If you haven’t heard the news, Latham House is permanently closing this Sunday after brunch. Make sure to pay them one last visit before they’re gone. The good news is that owner Dan Latham will start a new project as executive chef at The Table at 3 Acres at 400 Claremont Avenue in Jersey City’s West Side neighborhood.

When: Thursday, April 13 from 8pm to 10pm
Where: 594 Palisade Avenue
The Riverview All Stars will perform a night of jazz at Fox & Crow tonight. Admission is free.

What: The House of Hot Chicken Grand Opening
When: Saturday, April 15
Where: 138 Newark Avenue
The House of Hot Chicken is coming to downtown Jersey City. The fried chicken eatery is opening inside Oliva Market. (They’ve taken over the former Falafel Station outpost). Saturday will be their grand opening day.

What: Vintage Jazz Night at Green Pear Heights
When: Saturday, April 15 from 7:30pm to 9:30pm
Where: 93 Franklin
BYOB restaurant Green Pear Heights is hosting a night of jazz starring Lauren Sansaricq. Admission is $15/pp.

What: Christina Alessi and the Toll Collectors at Fox & Crow
When: Saturday, April 15 from 8pm to 10pm
Where: 594 Palisade Avenue
Christina Alessi and the Toll Collectors will perform at Fox & Crow tonight. The band takes inspiration from country, rock, and soul. Admission is $10/pp.

What: Comedy Night at Corgi Spirits
When: Saturday, April 15 from 8pm to 10pm
Where: 1 Distillery Drive
Head to Corgi Spirits for a night of comedy and cocktails. Jersey City comedians Ryan Rummel and Alex Grubard will showcase stand-up comedians from all over the tri-state area. Admission is $20 per person.

What: Spring Mourning Art Market
When: Sunday, April 16 from 12pm to 5pm
Where: Sip Studios at 140 Sip Avenue
The Jersey City Oddities Market is back with Spring Mourning — an art market and oddities event at Sip Studios. The market will feature over 20 vendors of the old and the odd, along with a series of live performances. Admission is $10/pp or $12 (day of) at the door.

What: Movie Night at Dullboy
When: Sunday, April 16
Where: 364 Grove Street
Every Sunday night, Dullboy will be screening a movie in its patio. The movie will begin at 8pm. Make sure to give them a follow on Instagram to find out what movie they’ll show.
