From bacon empanadas to a bacon truffle sandwich — Bacon Fest is back at Zeppelin Hall. Through Sunday, February 5, you can order from various different bacon entrees that include dishes like bacon mac & cheese, a bacon Nashville chicken sandwich, and more.

When: Thursdays from 4pm to 6pm
Where: Grove Plaza
The Jersey City farmers market is back at Grove Plaza for the winter season. Vendors include Jed’s Bread, Stony Hill Farms, The Oldwick Soup Company, and more.

What: Sean Kiely and Friends at Fox & Crow
When: Thursday, January 19 from 8pm to 10pm
Where: 594 Palisade Avenue
Local singer/songwriter Sean Kiely will perform at Fox & Crow tonight. Kiely has released several acclaimed recordings under his own name, in addition to being an in-demand guitarist and singer on the local bluegrass scene and producer for other artists. Admission is $10/pp.

What: Lunar New Year Dragon Dance
When: Saturday, January 21 from 11am
Where: 472 Jersey Avenue
The Jersey City Free Public Library and New York’s Fong’s Hung Ga Kung Fu Association will celebrate the Lunar New Year with an outdoor dragon dance. After the dance, the Jing Chinese Culture Events will offer a free crafts workshop for children in the library’s 4th floor.

What: Barre3 Grand Opening
When: Saturday, January 21 from 8am to 1pm
Where: 10 Provost Square
It’s official: Barre3 Jersey City is celebrating its grand opening this Saturday. There will be  two free classes at 9am and 10:30am. After class, you’ll enjoy hair braiding courtesy of Blo Jersey City, treats by Jam Cakery Events, and more.

What: CR and the Nones at Fox & Crow
When: Saturday, January 21 from 8pm to 10pm

What: Movie Night at Dullboy

Where: 364 Grove Street
