The Weekender: Night Market returns to City Hall, live music at Pet Shop

The first outdoor food market of 2024 is here. Head to the City Hall parking lot for the season opener of Jersey City Night Market or catch live music at Pet Shop and Fox & Crow. Here’s a look at where to eat, shop, and chill this weekend in JC.

Thursday Events

What: Zeppelin Hall Meatball Fest
When: through Sunday, April 28
Where: 88 Liberty View Drive
Zeppelin Hall is celebrating all things meatball-related during its Meatball Festival. Head to the beer hall to order from 12 different international meatball entrees.

What: Pet Shop JC Live Gigs
When: Thursday, April 4 from 7:30pm
Where: 193 Newark Avenue
Four bands will take the stage tonight with Fixations (7:30pm), SuperMutt (8:15pm), Philosopher Pirate (9:15pm), and The Revel (10:15pm). Meanwhile, PS Wine Bar will feature a comedy show hosted by Alex Grubard and Alex Nicholas.

Nick Dunbar creatively intertwines the classic Western swing and honky tonk sounds of greats like Lefty Frizzell, Bob Wills, and Ernest Tubb, with the country western traditions of Merl Haggard and Willie Nelson. Admission is $10/pp.
