There’s a lot happening in Jersey City this weekend. Checkout a tipsy opera at Corgi Spirits, Oktoberfest at Amelia’s and Zeppelin Hall, plus the Rocky Horror Picture Show returns to Harsimus Cemetery.

What: Zeppelin Hall Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest is back at Zeppelin Hall. Through Sunday, October 23, you can order a variety of German beers, brats, pretzels, and more.

What: Corgi Spirits Tipsy Opera
When: Thursday, October 6 from 7pm to 10pm
Where: 1 Distillery Drive
Corgi Spirits presents an afternoon of opera with Hilary Baboukis (mezzo-soprano) and Veronica Shea (soprano). The duo will offer a free performance with David Maiullo on piano. Admission is free.

What: Widely Grown at Fox & Crow
When: Thursday, October 6 from 8pm to 10pm
Where: 594 Palisade Avenue
Widely Grown (featuring Jersey City songwriter James Calleo) will perform at Fox & Crow tonight. The first set features original material and the second set will feature selections from Neil Young’s catalog. Admission is $10/pp.

What: Oktoberfest at Amelia’s

Amelia’s Bistro is celebrating Oktoberfest all month long with $5 beer/wine/cocktails/apps. (Select drinks/apps only). The specials are available everyday starting at 3pm.

What: Rocky Horror Picture Show at Harsimus Cemetery
When: Friday, October 7 from 6pm to 11pm
Where: Historic Jersey City and Harsimus Cemetery (435 Newark Avenue)
The Cosmic Light Cabaret and the Historic Harsimus Cemetery will screen the Rocky Horror Picture Show tonight complete with a live shadowcast performance. Audience members are also encouraged to dress up and participate. Tickets are $25 per person.

What: Corgi Spirits Live Music w/ Dirty City
When: Friday, October 7 from 8pm to 10pm
Where: 1 Distillery Drive
Enjoy an afternoon of cocktails and live music as Jersey City-bsed band Dirty City performs at Corgi Spirits tonight. Admission is free.

What: Smorgasburg Jersey City
When: Saturday, October 8 from 11am to 6pm
Where: Harborside Plaza & Hudson Street (behind Smorgasbar)
Smorgasburg is back at Harborside for another season of eats. The outdoor market will offer food from numerous vendors including Cake Jars, Carlitos Barbecue Taqueria, and more. The market will operate every Saturday. Admission is free and there will be various outdoor dining options throughout Harborside JC.

What: Christina Alessi and the Toll Collectors at Fox & Crow
When: Saturday, October 8 from 8pm to 10pm
Where: 594 Palisade Avenue
Christina Alessi and the Toll Collectors will perform at Fox & Crow tonight. The band takes inspiration from country, rock, and soul. Admission is $10/pp.

What: Froth on Franklin Pop-Up

Heights coffee shop Froth on Franklin will host an artist pop-up on Sunday. The shop will showcase the work of local artist, Mikaela Simon.

What: Women Owned Weekends at PLNTD
When: Sunday, October 9 from 12pm to 4pm
Where: 16 Erie
Women Owned Weekend is a pop-up at PLNTD Jersey City that showcases the work of a local, woman-owned business. Today, PLNTD will feature the work of Fern Made, which specializes in handmade crochet goods.

What: Movie Night at Dullboy
When: Sunday, October 9
Where: 364 Grove Street
Every Sunday night, Dullboy will be screening a movie in its patio. The movie will begin at 8pm. Make sure to give them a follow on Instagram to find out what movie they’ll show.
